This distinctive handmade rollerball pen is made from Macassar Ebony, native to Southeast Asia, with a screw-on cap. It features chrome trim with gold-plated accents and black ink. The wood is reddish-brown with dark brown stripes, and medium pores. The cartridge is a Schmidt 888 fine rollerball, easily changed and readily obtained online in medium point and black or blue ink. Alternately, the pen can be refilled with a Pilot G2 rollerball gel refill.
 
It's hand turned on a lathe, sanded, and given a protective varnish. This is a heavier and larger diameter pen in a dark wood, appealing to both men and women.  The weight of the pen is 56 grams overall (31 grams without cap), with a 0.54" diameter lower barrel and 0.58" diameter cap. The overall length is 5.5", and 4.7" without cap. A truly special pen, quite well balanced and easy to hold.
