This handmade pen is made from Ironwood, native to Florida and Central America, with screw-on cap in chrome with gold plated ring.  It uses a Schmidt 888 fine rollerball refill in black, which is easy to replace when needed, and readily obtained on Amazon, and sometimes at local stationary stores.  It's hand turned on a lathe, sanded, and given a protective varnish. This is dark brown wood with dark brown to black streaks. The weight of the pen is 50 grams, with 0.48" diameter lower barrel and a 0.57" diameter cap.  Perfect for someone who likes a heavier pen with a subtle but defined grain pattern.
