This distinctive handmade mechanical pencil is made from Patagonian Rosewood wood (Curupay), native to Argentina, Brazil and Paraquay.  It uses a push-button mechanism with a small eraser under the cap, and uses 0.7mm lead.  It's easy to replace the lead or eraser when needed, readily obtained online or stationary store.  It's hand turned on a lathe, sanded, and given a protective varnish. This is a distintive medium brown wood, heavily grained with black streaks. The weight of the pen is 32 grams, with a barrel that's 1/2" diameter, and just over 5" long. It fits very well in almost anyone's hands with a nice balence.
