This handmade pen is made from Petagonia Rosewood (also known as Curupay), native to Argentina and Brazil, with screw-on cap in chrome.  It uses a Schmidt 888 fine rollerball refill in black, which is easy to replace when needed, and readily obtained on Amazon, and sometimes at local stationary stores.  It's hand turned on a lathe, sanded, and given a protective varnish. This is medium brown with dark brown streaks. The weight of the pen is 54 grams, with 0.50" diameter lower barrel and a 0.56" diameter cap.  Perfect for someone who likes a heavier pen with a highly figured, medium colored wood and cleaner look without being ornate.
