This handmade pen is made from Brazilian Cherry, native to Brazil.  It uses a ballpoint Parker refill, which is easily replaced when needed, and easily obtained locally or online.  It's hand turned on a lathe, sanded, and give a protective varnish. A very distinctive pen for someone who likes a medium toned brown wood with limited grain.
