This handmade twist ballpoint pen with gold-plated trim is made from Acacia, native primarily to Australia. It uses a Parker refill, readily obtained online or stationary store.  It's hand turned on a lathe, sanded, and given a protective varnish. This is a medium brown pen with subtle dark brown streaks. The weight of the pen is 38 grams, with a barrel that's 1/2" diameter, and just under 5" long. It fits very well in almost anyone's hands with a nice balence, and easily slipped in a pocket or purse.
